How we start working together.

Pilot Projects

How we start working together.

A pilot is the low-risk way in. Fixed scope. Fixed price. Founder-led. 1-4 weeks. You see how we work, what we deliver, and whether the fit is right before committing to anything bigger.

Why this engagement model

Why leading teams start small.

The pilot model exists because buying senior consulting is risky. The wrong fit costs money, time, and political capital. A pilot makes the wrong fit cheap to discover.

  • Proven before scaled

You see the work before you scale the engagement. If the fit is not right, you still keep the pilot output and avoid months of misfit work.

  • Rapid value

Observable outcomes in weeks, not months, depending on scope and baseline. The work product is real and yours to keep regardless.

  • Fixed investment

Transparent pricing scoped up-front. No retainer trap, no scope creep, no surprise invoices.

  • Team alignment

Build internal confidence and stakeholder buy-in around a real, low-risk first step before asking for the bigger budget.

Our promise for every pilot

The Pilot Promise.

If we do not deliver the outcomes listed in the signed pilot scope, you do not pay the final invoice. You keep the completed code, configurations, documentation, and written summary produced during the pilot.

The scope is written before work begins, including deliverables, timeline, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria. That gives both sides a clean standard for success.

What you keep

The pilot is useful even if we stop there.

  1. Before work starts

    Signed pilot scope

A written scope with deliverables, timeline, fixed quote, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria.

  2. During delivery

    Working deliverables

Code, configurations, diagrams, assessment notes, or implementation assets created during the engagement.

  3. At handover

    Decision summary

A short written summary of what changed, what was learned, and what to do next.

  4. After handover

    30-day support window

A short follow-up period for handover questions, clarification, and next-step guidance.

What we pilot

Three domains. One way of working.

Each domain has its own focused pilot scope. Click into compliance for our deepest write-up, or book a discovery call for cloud and AI pilots and we will scope the right one with you.

ii. Cloud and DevSecOps

For teams ready to modernise infra

Cloud architecture and secure delivery.

Practical, fixed-scope work on the systems you already run. Pipeline builds, infrastructure-as-code starters, container migrations, and cloud architecture reviews.

Pilot examples

  • DevOps Pipeline Sprint
  • Infrastructure-as-Code Starter
  • Containerisation Quick Start

iii. AI Adoption

For founders cutting through AI noise

Validate one AI use case end-to-end.

Strategy sessions and 4-week proofs of concept that test whether a specific AI use case is worth building, before you commit infrastructure budget.

Pilot examples

  • AI Adoption Strategy Session
  • 4-Week AI POC
  • Cost-to-Scale Modeling

What every pilot looks like

Your success path.

  1. Discovery call (30 min)

We discuss your challenges and identify the right pilot. If the work is not a fit, we say that before anything is scoped.

  2. Written scope and fixed quote

You receive a written scope document with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price before any commitment. The Pilot Promise applies once you sign off.

  3. Pilot execution (1-4 weeks)

Founder-led delivery, pairing alongside your team throughout. Regular check-ins keep the work visible, and any scope change is agreed in writing before it affects timeline or price.

  4. Results, handover, decision

Final summary report, all deliverables transferred to you, and a 30-day post-pilot support window opens. You decide whether to expand the engagement, implement internally, or stop here.
